Portuguese

Portuguese is the eighth most widely spoken language in the world, and the fifth in Toronto. Brazil alone has 200 million Portuguese speakers waiting to welcome you warmly and show you their natural wonderland. Just think of the rhythms of Carnival, the beaches of Rio de Janeiro, and adventure in the Amazon jungle. If that's not enough, imagine yourself visiting some of the most beautiful islands in the world, off the coast of Portugal. In addition, Portuguese will help you on the road to understanding other Latin languages, including Italian, Spanish and French.
